Abandonné sans explication par son ancien adoptant, ce chien trouve enfin une famille bienveillante (video)

Polo n’a pas eu une vie simple. Ce brave toutou a ainsi passé 2 ans dans un refuge Wet Noses Rescue. Durant ces 2 années, l’équipe du chenil a passé de nombreuses heures à soigner, guérir et réhabiliter le quadrupède, que ce soit physiquement ou émotionnellement. Sans plus d'informations sur son passé, on peut néanmoins se douter que son existence a dû être compliquée.

Pourtant, l’espoir d’une vie meilleure s’est présenté lorsque Polo a finalement été adopté. Les employés du Wet Noses Rescue étaient évidemment ravis que leur petit protégé puisse enfin goûter aux plaisirs d’un foyer aimant. Ils étaient ainsi comblés, lorsque le nouveau maître du toutou leur a envoyé une photo de lui avec l’animal en train de faire une randonnée dans les montagnes du Colorado (États-Unis).

Cependant, moins de 12 heures après cet heureux cliché, l’adoptant a décidé d’abandonner la pauvre Polo. Ce dernier a ainsi été déposé dans un chenil du Colorado, en pleine nuit et sans un mot d’explication. Le refuge Wet Noses Rescue étant toujours enregistré dans la puce du chien, les membres du personnel ont alors appris la triste nouvelle le lendemain.

Le chenil a bien tenté de reprendre contact avec l’ancien maître, mais sans succès. Atterrée par la situation et le comportement de l’adoptant, l’équipe a décidé de poster sur TikTok une vidéo racontant l’histoire du malheureux animal. Les images étaient également accompagnées de cette légende : “Ils l’ont laissé dehors, dans le froid, seul, dans une boîte de dépôt la nuit au refuge. Après nous avoir bloqués sur tous les canaux de communication – ni appels, ni SMS, ni e-mails – rien – ils ont tout simplement coupé les ponts. Nous n’avons aucune explication, aucune réponse”.

Heureusement, la vidéo a eu un tel retentissement auprès des internautes, que Polo a enfin trouvé une nouvelle famille pleine d’amour à lui offrir. Désormais, sous le soleil chaleureux de Californie du Sud, le toutou peut savourer une vie normale. On peut d’ailleurs le constater dans une vidéo relayée par Newsweek, où l’on voit l’animal plus heureux que jamais, profitant de sa nouvelle maison, du jardin et des parties de jeux avec son frère canin.
